Dress for the Job You Want

This 50-page book shares tips and information on how students can dress for success even on the tightest budget. It shows them how to effectively signal to employers that they “get it,” and avoids the unfortunate situation lots of students face where they are locked out of the job market simply because they did not know the unwritten rules of dress. The book is written with menswear in mind, because that is what I know and it is men that seem to have the most problem getting it right. But, the principles apply equally to both genders, but I hope to soon add a second book for women as well. The book also has some great war stories and advice from experienced careers counselors.

Here are some of my favorite topics that are in the book:
Coordinating Ties
The Right Suit For Your Body Type
Why Fit is The Most Important Thing
Dressing on a Budget
Avoiding Faux Pas
How to Accessorize
Caring for Your Wardrobe
Fitting In
